Ecler - Awak SB115i - Full range speaker 400W RMS / 8 Ohm

Sub-bass reinforcement cabinet to be used as a complement to AWAK 108i and AWAK 112i types. A 15" woofer is used, with ceramic magnet and a 100 mm voice coil, able to withstand diaphragm displacements up to 9 mm. Maximum program power allowed onto 8 is 800 Watt.

AWAK Series

Designed to cover a wide range of applications, from conference auditoriums and sport halls, where a good speech transmission index is needed, to outdoor events like open-air nightclubs, mobile disco's, meetings, open spaces monitoring These are all situations where a good sound projection, high sound pressure levels and a reliable performance are required.
All these acoustic cabinets are enhanced Bass-Reflex types, obtained by using ECLER's own developed SIMBOX electro-acoustic design software.

To build the cabinets, a high density DM-type conglomerated wood fiber board is used, coated with heavy-duty resistant hybrid polyurethane. The connection panels are equipped with Speakon®-type connectors. On all models, the front side is protected with a 1mm thick steel grid and acoustically transparent foam, in order to protect the speakers from splashes and dust. Passive filtering by the AWAK-i series is done using LC-type filters made of low-tolerance polyester capacitors and heavy gauge wire coils. All models house also an efficient hi-frequency protection system against Larssen Effects and signal clipping.

Adaptability
The unique shape design of the AWAK series make them able to match easily any demand or to fit any situation in which these units could be used. As on-stage monitoring units, as distributed PA systems with added sub-bass reinforcement, placed anywhere in discrete locations.

Built-in handle grips, embedded into the cabinet's structure (112i and 115i types) make them easy to move and to use in touring events and even during the system setup. Also into each unit's bottom a steel adapter is embedded, to allow the unit to be fixed upon a tripod. All units, except AWAK's 108i-type, are delivered including a pack of screw able rubber floor blocks. Both models 215i and SB 118i are build with strong embedded steel rigging grips.

Flying&Rigging systems
The AWAK series has been developed to provide to each model the most adequate rigging facilities:

For the 108i-type, the use of the SR10 flying plate (which is delivered in 2-unit packs) is recommended. This allows the cabinet to be oriented into any direction (watch the diagram).

For the 112i and 115i types, the SR12 flying kit is recommended (watch the diagram)

Both models 112i and 115i house embedded nuts to attach flying clamps using 8mm screws, which allow the cabinets to be rigged using chains or steel cables.

Finally, the 215i-type has an attaching point at each side, and one on the backside of the cabinet, designed to couple ECLER's FL200 steel flying kit to the unit. (watch the diagram)

Covers & Coats
Protection covers are available for types 112i, 115i and 215i. Foam-quilted, water resistant, and easy to use.
